Frequently Asked Questions
Is therapy confidential & secure?
Absolutely! Your privacy is of utmost importance. We've carefully researched & implemented a strong, software platform that is HIPAA compliant and HITRUST certified. Please reach out to Jane Sieve with any questions/concerns around confidentiality & protections. She wants you to feel comfortable, safe & secure.
JS Mental Health is a private-pay practice. Prior to your initial session, a credit card or HSA/FSA card will be requested for its secure storage. This card is charged only following an individual session. Please reach out to Jane Sieve to explore a fee reduction or to receive her help in matching you with a qualified, in-network therapist to directly bill your insurance carrier.
What is the cost per session?
The cost per session is $185 for In-office & Online care. For clients who prefer In-home therapy, please contact JS Mental Health for details.
Do you take insurance?
JS Mental Health is considered an Out-of-Network provider. This simply means that we do not bill your insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a receipt of care, called a Superbill, for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement, pending policy guidelines. Please contact your carrier to learn more about Out-of-Network benefits & methods for reimbursement.
What if I'm in crisis?
JS Mental Health is not a 24/7 resource for crisis situations.
If you or someone you care about is experiencing a life-threatening crisis, please call 911 or visit your nearest ER.
